December 2017:
Coastal Pacific Tour
Fly in to Manzanillo Airport (ZLO) on any Saturday and be picked up to go flying immediately.
Fly for 7 days and be dropped off on the following Saturday to return home. We can also structure longer tours and different arrival days.
Our fees include a very nice hotel room in Manzanillo right on the main beach. You only pay for food & drink.
We also can provide pickup and shuttles on any other days as well depending on best connections & flights you can arrange.
FlyBC Paragliding has been conducting guided Paragliding Tours to Mexico since 1996 and have introduced many new sites to beginners and experienced pilots alike.
The beauty of the Pacific Coast in Manzanillo offers up some incredible ridge soaring & thermalling at El Toro Launch situated right above Santiago Bay.
We land right on the sandy beach in front of Launch. There is also a golf course to land on if you really have a bad glide, which is walking distance to the beach.

Prime flying time in Mexico coincides with our worst Northern Weather patterns, in November thru March. So a perfect winter getaway awaits you down in Mexico.
Forget the news reports about muggings and robberies in Mexico, the sites we fly are near smaller towns and the Mexican people make you feel very safe and welcome.
When the coastal forecast is too windy for safe paragliding we drive inland to Colima where there is a fantastic launch recently renovated by the Colima Government with an Astroturf surface to lay out your glider. Nice thermalling here and may XC routes have been pioneered here.
I was taking pictures of the newly renovated launch. With government funding they landscaped the terrain and added Astroturf, so the launch is amazing now.
While we provide retrieve services during our tours, many experienced XC pilots have gone past 100 kms and were able to get back to base with their thumbs everyday. Hitching and cabs are the preferred method of transport in mountainous Mexico.
Mike M had some fun in Mexico this year on the FlyBC Tours and is now preserving it for all of you on YouTube.
Launch locations in Jocotepec, Tapalpa & San Marcos
Fly in to Guadalajara Airport (GDL) on any Saturday and be picked up to go flying immediately.
Fly for 7 days and be dropped off on the following Saturday to return home. We can also structure longer tours and different arrival days.
Our fees include a very nice hotel room in Lake Chapala right on the main beach. You only pay for food & drink.
We also can provide pickup and shuttles on any other days as well depending on best connections & flights you can arrange.

Delayed Broadcast of a paragliding solo flight on February 27, 2010 in Tapalpa (my last flight on the FlyBC Winter Tour there this year),
I kicked butt as the locals sunk out and I was able to top-land - thanks to Colleen for the filming!
